Felix + Constant Fraction Discriminator
The Felix + Constant Fraction Discriminator bundle extends Felix’s time-tagging capabilities to both positive and negative input signals, while enabling time-walk error compensation.
The compact CFD from FLIMLABS converts variable-amplitude analog pulses into precise digital timing signals, enabling reliable acquisition of signals that cannot be directly connected to Felix.
Available with one or multiple CFD modules for multi-channel setups.
How it works
A Constant Fraction Discriminator (CFD) converts fast analog pulses into precise digital timing signals. By triggering at a constant fraction of the pulse amplitude, it minimizes timing errors caused by pulse-height variations, providing accurate and stable timing detection for high-speed measurement and time-resolved applications.
